Everything arrives the same way: slow-roasted, carved to order, over duck-fat potatoes, seasonal greens, a proper Yorkshire and a jug of gravy you will want to finish.

Dry-Aged Beef Rump

£18.50

Thirty days aged, roasted pink, rested properly. Horseradish made in-house that morning.

Rolled Pork Belly

£17.00

Crackling you can hear from the next table. Bramley apple sauce, sage and onion stuffing.

Half Roast Chicken

£16.50

Free-range, brined overnight, finished over the coals. Bread sauce on the side, as it should be.

Squash & Chestnut Wellington

£15.00

Golden pastry, roasted squash, chestnut and mushroom. Every trimming the beef gets, it gets.

Sides for the table, sticky toffee pudding after, and a cellar that takes gravy as seriously as you do. Full menu at the bar.

Tables go quickly on Sundays. Tell us when and how many, and we will do the rest.

Online booking is being fitted behind the bar as we speak. Until it is live, this form will not take reservations.
